The function of this cluster is to keep data flowing even if one of the servers fails. A high-availability cluster service can fail-over from one cluster node to another with no apparent interruption to cluster clients. Load-balance clustering is a technique used to distribute the work-load evenly across two or more computers or servers to achieve optimal resource utilization, maximize response time and avoid crashes due to excess workload.
